a – Şimdi yada gelecekte olası koşullar
If + present simple + will + infinitive

b – Şimdi yada gelecekte gerçek olmayan koşullar
If + simple past + would + infinitive
If he asked me I would help him. (=Fakat bana sormayacak, yada muhtemelen sormayacak)
c – Geçmişteki gerçek olmayan koşullar
If + past perfect + would have + past participle
If he had asked me, I would have helped him. (= Fakat istemedi.)
d – Genel koşullar
If + present simple + present simple
If he asks me, I always help him. (=Her ne zaman yardımımı isterse...)

c – Ana cümle, emir cümlesi olabilir.

d – Koşul cümlelerinde, simple present yerine present continuous yada present perfect kullanabiliriz.

e – Gerçekleşme olasılığında çok da emin değilsek, koşul cümleciğinde should kullanabiliriz.

Bu yapıları ‘sadece ve sadece...ise’ anlamında kullanırız.

3 And ve or (else)
a – Bazen iki düşünceyi bir birine bağlamak için, koşul cümleciği yerine and kullanırız.
Stay in bed for a few days and you’ll be fine.
b – ‘Eğer ....-mezse’ yada ‘yoksa’ anlamında or (else) kullanabiliriz.
Don’t try to lift that box or (else) you’ll hurt yourself.
4 Suppose / supposing
Özellikle gerçekdışı koşullarda, if yerine suppose yada supposing kullanabiliriz.
